Data We Collect

• Homework Images: We collect images you upload as a parent
• Account Information: We collect basic account details, specifically your email address.
• Usage Data: We track data to display your homework check history.
• Child Privacy: We do not collect data directly from children; we only collect data from parents acting on their behalf.

How We Use Your Data

• Educational Support: To check homework and provide explanations.
• History & Progress: o display your child's homework history and academic progress
• Service Accuracy: To improve our service and accuracy.
• No Third-Party Sales: We never sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
• No Marketing: We never use your child's homework for marketing purposes.

AI Technology Disclosure

This app uses Google's Gemini AI to analyze and mark homework images. When you submit homework:

• Image Processing: Homework images are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis.
• AI Analysis: The AI identifies questions, checks answers, and provides feedback.
• Accuracy Notice: AI marking should be reviewed by parents as it may not always be 100% accurate.
• No Training: Your homework images are not used to train AI models.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our app:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database storage, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Meta (Facebook): Analytics and ad attribution via Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
- - Event Tracking: We share app events with Meta including: HomeworkScanned, HomeworkMarked, Subscribe, CompleteRegistration, and AppInstall.
- - Event Parameters: These events include non-PII parameters such as subject, page count, score, and entitlement ID.
- - User ID Protection: User IDs are SHA-256 hashed before transmission to Meta.
- - Conversions API: Server-side events are sent to Meta's Conversions API (graph.facebook.com) via HTTPS with data encrypted in transit.
- - Purpose: Data is used for analytics and ad attribution only.
- - AutoLogAppEventsEnabled: This setting is disabled — only explicit events are logged.
• Google Gemini AI: Homework image analysis and marking.
• RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management.
• Apple/Google: In-app purchase processing via respective app stores.

Meta Data Sharing & User Opt-Out

• iOS Opt-Out: Users can control tracking via Settings > Privacy > Tracking on their iOS device.
• Android Opt-Out: Users can opt out via Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization on their Android device.
• AD_ID Permission: AD_ID permissions are explicitly removed on Android — no advertising ID is collected.
• Data NOT Collected:
- - No IDFA (Apple Identifier for Advertisers) collected
- - No Android Advertising ID collected
- - No cross-app tracking for advertising purposes

Children's Data & Parental Use

• Parental Management: This app is designed for parents to use after homework is complete.
• Account Control: All data is controlled by the parent account holder
• Usage Intent: Data is used only to support learning at home
• Compliance: We comply with child privacy regulations, including COPPA.

Security & User Rights

• Protections: We utilize secure storage and industry-standard protections with limited access.
• User Control: Data is used You have the ability to delete data, cancel your account, or request total data removal.

Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active.
• Homework History: Retained based on your subscription tier (Free: 30 days, Premium: unlimited).
• Crash Logs: Retained for 90 days for debugging purposes.
• Account Deletion: All data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
